Legendary guitarist, song writer, and musician Chuck Berry passed away at his home near Wentzville, Missouri on March 18th.  With songs like “Johnny B. Goode” and “Roll Over Beethoven,” he gave kids their first taste of Rock and Roll.  Berry hit the Top 10 in 1955 with “Maybellene” and went on to influence generations of musicians.

A post on the St. Charles County police Facebook page said officers responded to a medical emergency at the residence around 12:40 p.m.  “The St. Charles County Police Department sadly confirms the death of Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry.”
